As Technical Services Manager, Maria leads deep energy retrofit projects for TAF’s Retrofit Accelerator, overseeing implementation, quality reviews, and stakeholder relationships. She supports research, market development, performance analysis, and program improvements to advance low-carbon retrofits across the GTHA.
She has 7+ years in building science and retrofits delivery across Canada and the U.S. Previously an Energy and Sustainability Analyst and Building Science Engineer (EIT), she worked on decarbonization studies, retrofit planning, energy modeling, Passive House consulting, and embodied carbon analysis for diverse clients, contributing to technical guides and industry training.
Maria is passionate about art and heritage conservation and can often be found exploring museums, galleries, and historic buildings. She also enjoys painting, baking, and spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and skiing.
