Keith Burrows is the Low Carbon Buildings Director for The Atmospheric Fund (TAF), overseeing their Retrofit Accelerator program and ensuring alignment with TAF’s broader decarbonization objectives. Through the Accelerator, Keith has supported multi-residential deep retrofit initiatives in hundreds of homes, with ambitious projects in affordable and social housing, condominiums, and private apartment buildings.
Keith has worked in the low-carbon building sector for over a decade, and prior to joining TAF he founded a business that provided energy consulting services and operational carbon and energy ratings for homes. As part of this work he analyzed the energy performance of thousands of North American homes, worked with the U.S. Department of Energy to analyze and compare operational and modelled home performance, and helped design a system that identified low-performing homes based on public-record data.
Keith is a LEED® Accredited Professional and holds Master’s degrees in and Sustainable Design Studies from Boston Architectural College and Computer Science from Boston University.
