As Retrofit Services Manager looking at energy use in multi-unit residential buildings, Kaitlin is finding ways to improve indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and resident comfort while reducing energy use. Her work involves research and testing of technologies as well as consultation with residents.
Kaitlin’s collaborative work extends beyond TAF. She is the former co-chair of the Canada Green Building Council – Greater Toronto Chapter’s Emerging Green Professionals Committee, advocating for students and young professionals in the sustainable building industry. During her time on the committee she also co-created the annual EGP Design Charette, which challenges young building professionals to create innovative design solutions for local community concerns.
Kaitlin was one of Corporate Knight’s 2018 Top 30 Under 30.
Kaitlin is a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) and a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional in Training (CMVP-IT).
Kaitlin holds a Master’s of Building Science from Ryerson University and a B.A in Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto.
