As Director, Clean Electrification, Chris leads TAF’s efforts to drive electrification across the GTHA.
Prior to joining TAF, Chris was the General Manager of SolarShare, a renewable energy co-operative that has raised more than $90 million in community financing for solar projects. Earlier in his career, Chris was a consultant at ICF, where he led engagements in climate policy, energy efficiency, and GHG assurance. His experience includes time with M-KOPA, a groundbreaking financing company utilizing mobile technology to deliver affordable solar energy in East Africa. Chris also enjoys sharing his knowledge as an instructor of greenhouse gas accounting and reporting at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies.
In addition to his expertise in electrification, energy systems, climate action and innovative finance, Chris is a passionate advocate of democratic governance and the equitable distribution of wealth.
