As Director of Transportation, Adam leads initiatives to decarbonize mobility through vehicle electrification and strategies that promote sustainable travel for people and goods.
Trained as a professional engineer and urban planner, Adam brings a depth of expertise in planning, policy, and behavioural science to the transportation sector, spanning both the public and private sectors.
Adam holds an engineering degree from the University of Toronto and two master’s degrees in transportation and city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).. He has authored numerous academic publications on transportation policy, is a contributor to the Toronto Star and is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Toronto and York University.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys classical music and musical theatre as a pianist, French horn player and orchestral conductor.
