The project aims to address barriers to Behind The Meter (BTM) wind by piloting a BTM wind solution, bringing forward recommendations for a revised Renewable Energy Approval (REA) process to the Ontario government, and authoring several energy system business cases to allow BTM wind to enter the energy market through either energy Demand Side Management (eDSM), Non-Wires Solutions (NWS), or distribution system operator (DSO) energy procurements.
