The project aims to develop and disseminate recommendations to gradually reduce and/or phase out Ontario’s untargeted electricity subsidies and the Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) and the Renewable Cost Shift (RCS), while ensuring alignment with the Ontario government’s objective of protecting vulnerable consumers.
