Manager, Finance for Low-Carbon Buildings

Climate Policy Analyst (13-month parental leave contract)
We’re hiring to fill an existing 13-month parental leave vacancy for the Climate Policy Analyst role, with a planned start in May. In this position, you’ll translate research, data, and stakeholder insights into clear, evidence-based policy recommendations that help decision makers take meaningful climate action. You’ll contribute to major policy files, monitor emerging opportunities, and help coordinate TAF’s advocacy efforts across teams and with external partners.

Internships
This summer, we’re hiring five motivated interns to take on meaningful projects that contribute directly to TAF’s 2026 goals. These are full-time, paid roles open to students completing required internships and applicants who aren’t currently in school. We will begin reviewing applications on a rolling basis starting March 26 and may close the posting early if we have enough qualified candidates, so we encourage you to apply early. You can expect to work with TAF from May 4 to August 28, 2026.
Research & Innovation Junior Analyst
A practical, data-focused role where you’ll review emerging low-carbon technologies, analyze quantitative and qualitative information, and translate findings into clear, concise briefs that strengthen TAF’s programs. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys evidence-based problem-solving and exploring pathways to reduce emissions in the region.
Home Solar Accelerator Events Coordinator
A hands-on, public-facing role supporting residential solar adoption. You’ll represent the Home Solar Accelerator at community events, build relationships with local groups, share program information with residents, and help turn field insights into short, engaging content. Ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people and supporting neighbourhood-level climate action.
Clean Transportation Junior Analyst
A research role focused on reducing transportation-related emissions across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Region. You’ll analyze transportation trends, gather information to support efforts to reduce vehicle-kilometres travelled, and help prepare clear materials to inform policy, advocacy, and program decisions. This role is a strong fit for someone interested in how transportation planning, behaviour, and infrastructure shape regional emissions.
Climate Policy Junior Analyst
A policy-focused role supporting work to advance evidence-based climate policies across all levels of government. You’ll research regulatory barriers, review new policy proposals, assist with outreach to municipal councillors and staff, and contribute to submissions that help governments strengthen climate action. A great opportunity for someone interested in public decision-making and the policies that accelerate low-carbon solutions.
Data Governance Coordinator
A cross-team role that strengthens how TAF organizes, manages, and uses data. You’ll research data governance best practices, meet with teams to understand how information currently flows through the organization, map data processes, and identify opportunities to improve clarity and consistency. You’ll also support updates to TAF’s record retention schedule and present your findings through clear summaries and short presentations. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys organizing information, understanding how systems work, and helping teams use data more effectively.

Grants Lifecycle Management System
We’re seeking a qualified provider to deliver a cloud‑based, Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) Grants Lifecycle Management System. The system should support TAF’s full grants process, including its two‑stage intake (EOI → Full Proposal), streamline operations with automated workflows and integrations, and improve transparency, accountability, data quality, and ease of use for applicants, reviewers, and staff.
