Building a green workforce

We're more than halfway finished construction on our first deep retrofit at a Toronto site, where we're aiming for 40 per cent energy savings.

The progress on this project is made possible through our partnership with Building Up, a Toronto-based non-profit social enterprise which provides on-the-job training opportunities while building needed capacity in the construction industry. Keith wrote about our partnership with Building Up in his latest Deep Retrofit Diary.

Emissions inventory quantification methods

When we released our carbon emissions inventory in December, we also shared the quantification methodology we used to create the inventory. 

We will be collaborating with many over the course of this year to improve the inventory’s methodology and to support accurate, rigorous, and timely emissions quantification in the GTHA. We always welcome feedback on our quantification methods.
